We can certainly use it. Our building is a big process for a little church. Thankfully we have a big God.
BE PART OF A WORK TEAM
We'll be needing help from our community and from several churches who have been supportive of our ministry. If you would like to send a work team to Alaska, please send us an e-mail. If we can't accommodate your team in Girdwood, we'll be happy to put you in touch with our volunteer coordinator in the Alaska Missionary Conference.
UPDATE NOVEMBER 2007 -- We're not planning on any work teams for 2008 at this time. We have several large-ticket items to purchase that we need to get in place first (water, sewer, electric, etc.). We have had wonderful teams in 2005, 2006, and 2007 and are grateful for each of them. Also, we've had wonderful site managers: Phill Manderson, Brett Dahlgren, and Asa Rogerson. However, we cannot plan on having teams when we need to direct funds to these construction items that work teams can't do. Sorry for any inconvenience.
